MA Lighting put out an instructional DVD for learning the Grand MA lighting console. Do you know if any video companies have done anything similar? This winter I'm working on familiarizing myself with the Barco ScreenPro Plus 1603 and I'm looking for something more than some facetime and a manual.

Hey there Everybody... It's a difficult world in America these days... UNLESS you are a Banker or a Wall St Scum Bag!
I'm just a simple guy... A Seasoned Pro Video Director with over 25 years experience in Video production & Live Concerts... I am looking for any Gigs / Tours of Rock bands that need an easy going pro who can Document their Tour and Live concerts for a DVD release at a later date. I don't even need a crew... I'm a one man band and truly work well with anyone and can get a Million dollar job done for about $20,000!... Please contact me and we can talk.
Thanx's and good luck to everyone else out there.

Ha! VD friend of mine here in Dallas says his clients are making him use Art Institute students for gas money rates on all music stuff. Corporate is the only thing that pays, and there isn't much of that either.

Ready to shoot some rock shows. Had enough corporate for a while. Anyone need a camera op or VD near Denver?

Just finished the first real gig of the year, a 6 day corporate gig & waiting to find out if the next show this month will be 2 days of V2 or 5 days of camera. I'm cautiously optimistic for the first time in about a year.

I am looking for ANY video gig with a touring band. I am a camera Operator/Director/Editor with 25 years experience including 12 years out in LA shooting many live club shows at the Viper room in Hollywood and the old FM Station in the Valley. I have also shot several live festival events back east here in New England.

I have shot these various Bands & Members of: Aerosmith, Kiss, Black Sabbath, Ozzy, Dio, David Lee Roth, Tesla, Shine Down, Skindred, Clutch, Shadows Fall, Saliva, Quiet Riot, Motorhead, Alice Cooper, Kansas, Mr. Big, LA Guns, Cinderella, Steely Dan, Steve Miller, Tin Machine, Rainbow, and many other bands, Individuals and Artists.

I am currently located on the east coast in NH and I am ready to move wherever the tours or the gigs send me.

I am extremely easy going, road ready and looking for cool people and decent paying gigs and hopefully a cool rock band to work for.

I have my own gear and I am very much interested in also shooting Behind the scenes documentaries of these tours that a band might want to put out on a DVD at a later date.

CAN ANYBODY HELP ME?????.......... I'M going Crazy looking for work with these Jerk off idiots on the east coast that keep thinking Pro video production means a wedding guy!... Arggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh................

Please help me get back to where I belong... Working for real Pro's... in a real business... Shooting Rock and Roll.

Any and all help and comments will be greatly appreciated.

Got a five day gig in Mid January as a tape op. Started as a 2 day cam op gig, corporate work. I usually don't get any bookings this far out for January, so it may be a good sign. But nothing is normal, hard to project the year from one call.

I've been pretty busy myself mixing it up between corporate and music - but also audio and video gigs. Of course the next two weeks are pretty light and January is scaring the hell out of me but I think things will pick up again come March. I think everyone is in some sort of holding pattern to see what the hell is going to happen in January....
