After the show, the entire production is loaded back into trucks and is headed off to another…Continue

Anyone who's spent more than a few days living on a tour bus has experienced the annoyances associated with living in tight quarters.

Here's the question, what are your biggest pet peeves?  Slamming doors, loud music, bus-call infractions, leaving a mess, dirty socks in the front lounge...

What are the things that really get under your skin?

Do you have the ultimate "unruly bus-mate" story?

All those things already mentioned in the question and everything you can think of that wasn't mentioned, because it is all inconsiderate. Grow up!

People that ran the AC till it froze on a 100 degree day. You then have to wait for a couple of hours in the heat for it to thaw and start working again. Some people never learn how to live on a buss.

They keep it so cold you can see your breath while trying to sleep. Also I hate the two footed drivers who constantly have to be taping on the break peddle while we are trying to sleep.

And why is it that there hasn't been a tour bus invented that one can actually take a crap in the head without smelling up the whole bus ?

Being in a bunk above someone and they cut a horrendous smelling fart, then the noxious gas drifts upward and fills your bunk, which has the curtain closed thereby trapping you in a repulsive and nauseating stink chamber.

A pet peeve of mine is a bus mate who makes a mess with after show food or bus stock foods and doesn't clean up after themselves. When it's brought up, they claim its the bus drivers job to keep the bus clean. That may be true, but to an extent. Drivers are our friends who make sure we don't die in the middle of the night. Not to be your mother and clean up after yourself.

Someone who shits on the bus and screws up the toilet.
